The Bet

Fellow shoe collectors, fiends and whores, these maybe the coolest pair of shoes I have ever had on my feet!  And if you are into shoes, you know also the most expensive. I don’t want to mention the price, because really I’m embarrassed that I would spend so much on a pair of shoes that in 20 year I may be giving to the good will.

In reality, I am only renting them at the moment. Thanks to Visa and Zappos, I have a year to return them for a full refund.  I love these shoes. I love all my shoes, but these are extra special!  I cannot in any way justify keeping them….

Ok I have devised a way. I have made a bet with myself to lose the weight I have wanted to lose for 10+ years, and well… alas never have.
If I can get to my magical number… I decided I DESERVE to keep these shoes. I figure it is a justifiable reward for all my hard work and a lot less expensive than a Maserati or liposuction. So if in the next year you see these beauties on my feet, know that more than just my feet should be looking really good! Now excuse me I need to get to the gym!
