SWAG: Promotional merchandise often distributed at shows.

May include t-shirts, stickers, promo CDs, posters, etc. Sometimes free, but not necessarily. (If you are at a show, catch me in a good mood, and smile really really nice, then maybe it will be free)

The chief difference between swag and regular merchandise is that its purpose is not to make a profit, (I can tell you this part is true!) but to promote the artist, and reward the supporters by giving them something cool and unique. (And my swag is both)
